Founded in 1999 as WebGriot.com, BlackTVOnline has since transformed into an on-demand, broadband channel. The mission of BlackTVOnline is to showcase positive images of African-Americans. The site broadcasts hours of original talk shows featuring exciting and unique guests, dramatic and spoken word performances and social/political discussions from the African-American perspective. The site even hosts its own Afro-centric soap opera.
Many of the shows seem to have more webisodes available than actually appear on the site. That’s too bad. A larger archival database might allow us site surfers to enjoy previous webisodes.
