Delta Airlines, the Official Airline of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival decided to boost its visibility by hosting a short film competition.According to their publicity, Delta claims that “the viewers” voted on the entries. Those” viewers” apparently included Sundance Film Festivalgoers; Site surfers who may have viewed streaming entertainment on Revver.com, an online video entertainment site that runs ads and shares advertising revenue with its content provders. Delta does advertise on Revver. It is also known that the final five cutting-edge short films did make “their mile-high premiere” on board select Delta flights and on Delta’s website.
Regardless of who voted, now that Sundance is over, so is the Delta contest. Five finalists were chosen, and drumroll please….the winner can be streamed now. Also the other four finalists are available for viewing too.
